The following are some good tips to recognize a SPAM email.
1. Check the email address.
* Ignore the auto populated name that the email says it is from, but check the actual “name@domain.com” email address.
2. Ignore the logos.
* The logos can be taken off the internet and used to make a spam email look real.
3. If you think something looks off, don’t click the link.
* You can copy and paste a link into a word doc to make sure the link is real. Things like http://gsudbhf.idh are spam and any link you don’t recognize you should avoid clicking on.

4. Be cautious.
* If anything looks odd create a new email and send the questionable email to: SPAMReport@apartmentlife.org
Attach the message by dragging it from your inbox to an email message.
